BioLinux

BioLinux is a Linux OS developed for BiO (biological information objects). BioLinux is the first ever OS that is specifically for biology and also the first Linux OS for biology (In 1994, MRC Centre, Cambridge).

It is a sister project of BioPerl and BioJava.
